Bill of Rights Layouts

This two part assignment focused on laying out large bodies of text and numbered lists on a single page. The text was the Bill of Rights, and the first layout was to be neat, well organized, legible, and have a well thought out hierarchy. The second layout was to maintain legibility and hierarchy while adding in creativity and emphasis. For my first, neat layout, I found a font which contained very attractive numbers, since I knew they were to be a focus of mine. I then used columns and drop cap styles in order to lay out the page in a clear yet stylish manner. For the second, more experimental version, I chose in this one to also focus on the numbers, but to use them as a more graphic element. I chose a thin, condensed font for the title and numerals, and played more with my spacing.
